Does it have links with any professional bodies?
Courses within the programme carry varying levels of accreditation from three of the biggest Accountancy Professional Bodies within the UK - the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), since 2002; the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), since 2002; and, the Association of International Accountants (AIA), since 2004, who award a number of exemptions from the respective body's professional examinations to those students who have completed BBA/BA degree pathways on the Heriot-Watt Management Programme.
Who will award the BBA degree?
On the successful completion of studies students will be awarded a Heriot-Watt University degree (Ordinary).
Where will the student graduate BBA?
Heriot-Watt University holds official graduation ceremonies at the Edinburgh campus in July and November each year. All successful students are invited to attend. In some countries where the University has a large number of students graduating then official presentation ceremonies will be arranged. (for example in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in November 2008).
What are graduates career prospects?

How long will it take to complete the degree?
This depends on how many different modules students want to sit at each exam diet. Most of students study two subject areas (four units) and sit both exams at the same exam diet but it is entirely up to the student how he would choose to study. Degrees are flexible to find the pace that is right for the students.
What is difference between external degrees and on-campus degrees?
Heriot-Watt University is a British university. All UK university degrees are renowned for their quality and high academic standards and degrees recognised around the world. The External Programme degrees are of exactly the same standard as those offered on-campus and are also subject to external quality monitoring.
Will students' certificate be same as on-campus students?
Students' degree certificate will be exactly the same as oncampus student degrees. (eg. they will not specify 'distance learning', off-campus study, or the name of local Approved Learning Partner).
