B.Sc Honours in Applied Accounting
As part of BiMS's innovative partnership with ACCA, BiMS students are able to study for a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting, while taking their ACCA examinations at British Council, Bangladesh. The degree can be the stepping stone between being unqualified and having the ACCA Qualification, providing you with a valuable skill set which will help you complete the ACCA Qualification and help you excel in the workplace.
Students will be entitled to the degree (awarded by Oxford Brookes University) on completing the Fundamentals level of the ACCA Qualification, the online Professional Ethics module and by demonstrating their research, analysis, interpersonal and IT skills by completing a Research and Analysis Project.
Students who apply to the Programme and are studying an appropriate HND will be considered for entry into last three papers (F7, F8, F9). We would advise all HND students to contact the BiMS prior to making an application, to talk to a member of the Admission and Marketing responsible for the particular subject area of interest. The member of the Admission and Marketing will be able to discuss the entry requirements of the University in relation to the particular qualification being taken and will provide an indication of the likely level of entry that a student can expect to gain if successful in their application. On occasion, Admission and Marketing member may want to discuss an application with the Programme Director to ensure that the University is offering the student entry at a level suitable to their capabilities.
